11 March 2025, University of Technology Sydney
From Inspiration to Action: Being Part of the Change with the Women’s Climate Congress.
In this event Janet Salisbury, Founder of the Women’s Climate Congress, was joined by a panel of engaged women climate leaders to share a keynote and panel discussion that challenged the traditional notion of climate activism and inspires women to take meaningful action through movement building for systemic change that connects individual efforts to larger, transformative initiatives.
In her keynote, Janet spoke of how collective action, deep collaboration, and gender-balanced governance are the keys to accelerating climate solutions. Panelists shared practical ways to contribute—whether through advocacy, grassroots initiatives, or creative expression, creating a roadmap for engagement and strategies to amplify women’s voices in climate leadership and drive real impact.
When women unite, we don’t just demand change—we lead it.
